Find all files in exploer.

I’m running win98, have not loaded anything lately,checked for viruses and checked my view settings. I was in explorer a day ago and everything worked, but now explorer is wigging out. Every time I try to open a file or folder it prompts the *search* window unless I right click the folder and *open* it. I can expand all folders on the left side, but when I select a folder it goes straight in the folder and I can’t see my drives etc. on the left. Any CLUES???????

If you haven’t done so, re-install the operating system.
