Find Software Keys on WINXP Pro

By James NYS ·
I recently found an area in WINXP Pro where I could view all of the keys that used to load all applications on my system. I can't seem to navigate back there.

are you talking about Regedit?

This will have all information about what is installed and how it operates, including your OS.
To view the keys, go to start -- run -- and type regedit.

BEWARE though, 1 false move can render your OS useless and only recover by a reinstall.

If you are interested in what gets started/run when you start your system got start->run->msconfig.exe.
It lists all programs and services that are started at boot time.
