Finding Remote Mapped Drives

By DOE ·
Is there any tools that can search a Network for Mapped Drives by user ID. I have users that get locked out everyday becuase of a mapped drive somewhere on the network.

if your looking a way to show who is mapped/access to user's computer then windwos come with buit in software for it. for W2K go to:
programs\administrative tools\computer management\shared folder\sessions. it will tell you user name and the IP address.

You might try this utility

I've found it pretty helpful for tracking down shares etc.

May I give you an advice? Check also the Licences on the server, you may be close to the limit (in fact I think you are already over the limit) if because of a mapped folder (meaning connections to the server) some user are locked out.
