I have an IBM Thinkpad that I am trying to install a larger hard drive in. The unit that I am want to install the 10GB hard drive into was built with a 6GB drive, and will operate just fine with the 6GB, but is running out of space, so I attempted to install the 10GB drive and the BIOS is showing locked. Is there something simple I can do to find the password in the 6Gig machine, or will I have to do something with the 10Gig drive to ready it for the 6GB machine? I still have access to the Thinkpad that the 10GB came out of if that will help.
