We’ve been having problems with some of our CPU’s. I need to find out if the UltraSPARC II CPUs in our
E6500’s and a few other servers are model 5235, 5661, or 5762 so I know which ones need to be replaced.
Since I don’t want to power down all our servers to check the motherboards, I would like to know if
there is a solaris command that will give me the information. Right now all I can find is the processing
speed, e-cache, etc. Or perhaps there is another method that is less obtrusive than powering down servers that will let me know what model the CPUs are.
