This is more of a generic firewall question, but if anyone has teh firewall listed in the title, please chime in! So heres the deal:
I have my ZywallP1 installed in router mode (id prefer bridge mode, with a single server, but router seems to work better). I have all the rules set as best i can think of. Ports are forwarded to the server (sbs03, 2nic btw). With everything set up to the best of my knowledge i still cant get any inbound traffic if the generic rule for allow inbound by default is dissallowed. If thats turned on whats the point of having a firewall at all? It will just automatically allow all traffic…
Another odd happening: Today when i came in there was NO internet traffic in either direction. I pulled the zywall out of the line and everything worked fine again.
