It has occured to me that as a Network Professional, or anyone involved with systems, that its part knollege and part Voodoo. Much of what we do is related to the ablity to have the foundation of a taking methodical steps to troubleshoot a probOver the years as I have grown and evolved in the technical industry, I sometimes stop and take a look back at my career and evaluate my growth, both technically and emotionally. I have come to believe that its important that both continue to grow in order to be successful. Recently I also realized that the stages of Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Guilt and Acceptance that are often associated with things that happen in life, more or less apply to the new technical person, through the more seasoned professional. I often find my self lapsing into old habits, but I recover much better now that the years have gone by. I start this topic in hopes to see how others feel about this philosophy as one of the things I did learn and always try to practice is,learn from others at all levels.
