Fixboot command and FixMbr

by certifiedtek123 . Updated 19 years, 8 months ago

I recently read an article in smartcomputing.com
indicating to perform the fixboot command before fixmbr if your having trouble booting into windows.

However, its my understanding that the fixboot command rewrites the boot sector wouldnt that delete your mbr? and the fixmbr command would have nothing to repair or reconstruct?
