Flash Player will not work in IE

By phildavis516 ·
Unable to use Macromedia Flash Player in IE 6 or IE 7 Beta 3. When I come to a page that requires flash player I get a message to view this item install flash player with a hyperlink. When I click that it installs and I get the flash movie to confirm it installed correctly with a message to restart IE, when I do that flash will not work, we go back to square one.

I installed this version and it does the same thing. It says that it installed successfully, but when you come to a page that needs to use flash player it says flash player needs to be installed.

Why don't you try installing the latest version of Java at this link:

http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Alot of web pages use the latest version of Java in conjuction with Flash player to enable those pages with interactive content..

I've wasted several hours trying to follow all kinds of tips with no result. My solution was simple. I downloaded Netscape 9 which is now my main browser. No problems whatsoever to use Flashplayer. Worked first time.
