I have 2 pc’s with the same problem.
One is a pentium 300 Mhz and the other is a IBM 486/66. The probem is this, the floppy drive don’t work correctly. At the C prompt I type the a: follow by the Enter key. I got a noise as the floppy will start and the bussy light goes on and stays on, but nothing more only the insertion point blinked.By taking out the diskette the bussy light stays on. And the pc’s hangs in that position.I have change the followings: the(new)disk;change the cable and change the floppy drive.The setting in the BIOS is Ok. I have check the cable for the correct placing. All this have not resolve the problem. Can you help me with this.
