Heres a brief description of myself
I’m currently working at an italian bank in NYC i basically do help desk/support nt administration.I currently have an A+ certification with some knowlege of the a/s 400 running Financial Objects programs for financial institutions or banks for that matter. My thing is, i would love to live in Florida but from what i hear…the job maket for IT/ tech support is limmited especialy in west palm beach and miami (which is my interest in working) area. My job status here in New York as far as pay….is not much to brag about. i am concidering to look for more schooling in windows 2k,cisco a/s 400 programing and hopfully go for my MCSE. I love what i do but, i think for im doing(2yrs) in the field should reflect a little more on the salary side. I got into this job in order to get my feet wet and gain experience. I have put some resume’s out but nothing yet i was hoping someone knew more of the job market in florida as far as my experience goes and in hopes to guide me or to offer some advice or i have a chance or should sit tight and try (milk)them (the job) for training and other things they send me to. what are my chances….can any one help a fellow tech? whats my chances.
