Hi there! I have a little problem that’s starting to be a little frustrating, wich is changing icons of drives and folders. I’ve tried changing them via tools-folder options-file types with no success. I can change the icons there selecting the folder or drive, then clicking on advanced and then change icon and the icons on the registered file types menu do change but with no effect on the rest of the pc, like my computer, desktop, my documents and everywhere. I know that you can’t change the folder icon via file types, the change icon option is greyed out, but i’ve changed it in the registry and on the registered file types menu the folder icon did change but it didn’t everywhere else, and although i’m able to change any other icon via the registered file types menu and they really change, but those two didn’t. And i’d also like to know what’s the difference between the file folder and folder on the registered file types menu. I’d like to know how to do this on windows xp and preferably not via other software (i’ve tried lots of them but they only let me change one folder at a time and I want to change ALL folders at once).
PLEASE HELP!!!!! I’m getting desperate and about to kick the hell out of my pc!!!
