Folder appears inside of itself

by wysocki . Updated 15 years, 6 months ago

I have a 2003 server folder which is shared Peer-to-peer. When I browse the C:\public folder, one of the folders in it is called “Public on Server1” and has a file type of “folder” (different than a “file folder”). It is an exact duplicate of the real \public folder. And now I also have a “Public on Server1 (2)” folder!

Are these some sort of virtual folder? How were they created? Can I delete them without deleting the real \public folder data?
