My laptop has NT 4.0 as the OS. This is odd to me however….
I just recently noticed that when I create a new folder or try to rename a current folder the title box next to the folder icon disappears. I can type in the new name or the rename, however I must do so blindly, not seeing the cursor, text, or the text box… only the folder icon is there. Once typed and entered the text box and title appear. If I try to rename a folder by pushing F2 for example, the name and title box will disappear leaving only the folder icon. Don’t know if I hit some strange key combonation by accident or not but this started happening when the OS had been up and running for most of the day off the network with not emails or attachments opened. Mostly curious on this one, but it is a bit annoying.
