Folder Redirection Selection?

I have recently implemented Folder redirection throughout the domain. Is there a way in Folder Redirection to choose files that will NOT be redirected (pst, bak, bkf) files?

I have a user who each times logs in, it syncs up to his redirected My Documents folder, and fails each time giving an error message about outlook.bak.

Please help
