Folder rights

Using win xp home & pro on ms network. How can i give individual rights to the user on the network to view the folder.

first, on xp computer go to tools\folder options\view, at bottom of the list de-select the "use simple file sharing" option. then, right click on the folder you want to share, select security and add user with right permission.

You can allow for sharing on your network or by copying the file/folder to the Shared Documents folder. Unless you are using the NTFS format you will not be able to assign individual rights/permissions.
