I have a strange question for you guys , I have tried to google it but to no avail.
I have a folder set up on one of our servers (running 2003) for the managerement here. Now I have granted access to all the guys who should have access to it and generally speaking it works a treat and blocks unauthorized access whilst letting in the authorized guys.
However there is one guy (who just happens to be rather important !!) who uses a laptop and can sometimes access the folder ok – and other times is blocked with the message ‘E:\Management is not accessable access is denied’.
Like I say sometimes it lets hime in and sometimees not – however it seems fine from a workstation – it’s just the laptop.
I have tried making him the owner and even an Administrator – tried joining his laptop , but still the same !!
any ideas most welcome as it is making me look a bit daft !
