Fonts Overburdens Windows System

by knightangel . Updated 16 years, 5 months ago

It is a know fact that one of the best ways to speed up any version of Windows is to limit the number of fonts that startup with the system.

The problem is determining which fonts to hide, move or delete, without distrupting the system or any application(s) that may be using one of the manipulated fonts.

My question is two fold:

1. Although Windows has a font viewer and manipulator is there anyway to determine which program(s) uses any given font?

2. If Windows does not have this feature built-in, is there a third party vendor with a software to let you know which program using what font(s); or at least let me know what fonts were loaded with what program?
