In particular, your aptitude insofar as addressing the world at large.

The world, it is waiting.

English is a must

by NexS In reply to Tell us more

I see the location is India.
I think only 10 minutes ago I received a call from India with a "very important" survey which I must undertake.
Needless to say, I couldn't understand a word the guy said. Support is also outsourced from India in many, many, many cases.

Ergo, the better your english, the better your chances.

I hung up on the survey guy. Don't be a survey guy 'coz I'll hang up on you too.

Me?

Survey me and I'll leave you with a raw *** hole.

Raw

by NexS In reply to Me?

Sometimes I think they can't tell the difference. The words don't stop flowing - even after the 5th "No thanks" and the first "Get Flucked".

edit: Actually, I meant to originally reply to the question, but later found to be tree-ed under your post.

Surveys

by CharlieSpencer In reply to English is a must

"I'm sorry, but the company's legal department will not allow me to respond to surveys, studies, or database updates."

Works every time.

I said

by NexS In reply to Surveys

"I'm sorry I can't help you with this."
and he said
"But this is a very important questions(note the bad english), if you do this we can reward you-"

at this point i said "No, Sorry" and hung up...while he was still talking... I wouldn't have been surprised if he continued to ask the whole survey to a dead line...

I absolutely love it

when they're still talking while I'm moving the handset from my ear to the cradle.

And then they talk louder

by NexS In reply to I absolutely love it

As if they know you're hanging up, but *maybe* IF they talk louder, you'll stop and talk to them.
Ha!
