I am running two machines on 10baseT through a hub.
Machine A has two nic installed as i have a cable modem for internet connection, and internet connection sharing is enabled. There is no modem installed. OS is win ME.
Machine B has one nic installed and a 56k modem. it is the ICS client. OS is win 98SE.
Network protocols are:
TCP/IP and NETBEUI.
Due to the incresed number of attempted trojan portscans, I have been advised to remove the NETBEUI.
Problem: Neither machines are detecting each other through TCP/IP.
I have tried the Windows “Help” files and troubleshooters and have found them unhelpful. I cant find anythig about it on the Microsoft site.
I am aware that this is probably mundane for you guys, but my hair is a risk!
