can we format the hard disk without delete the certain files?..How????

No, we can't format HD without loosing data on it. You need to copy all your data to another HD (it may be another partition ? if you have it), floppy or do backup to restore after formatting.

If your HD is just one partition, you will loose all the files on the HD. If its partitioned into 2 or more partitions, you can copy the files to the other partitions and then format the first partition. Backup or copy to floppy disks is also another option, unless the files are too big. In that case you can split the files using a file splitter and copy them to floppy disks and reassemble them after you format your drive. Good luck !

Unfortunately no. you will have to just back up whatever files you need. if they are too big for floppy try buying a 75$ cdburner they are quite easy to install and man a cd holds 650mb or more. formatting completely eliminates the normal computer using from being able to retrieve files after a format. good luck
