formating macbook

hi ive gat a macbook and i wana format it and reinstall mac osx 10 on it.and i was wondering is there a way to do that without longin on as any user? what i mean is like from the comand line like you can usally do with pc by inserting a bootable disk and format and install windows from there.if there is such a way please help me out tanx.

You can use a linux install disk...

From there you can delete/format your drive, and then load on your new Mac operating system.

ive try to format it with an xp cd by pressing c when system start and it load the xp installtion page like i usally do on what i want to do is install xp on it and not install mac os on it at all. if i go on with the installation will it work normally like pc would?and can you tell me where can i possiblly get xp driver for it after installing xp?
