I just installed a Win2000 server for testing purposes. I have 2 hard disks the second one with 2 partitions. The first drive is in NTFS, when I try to format the next drive, I wanted to do it in FAT32, it goes through the whole process, and upon completion says, “Cannot format drive” I tried a few times to no avail, so I tried formating it in NTFS and it worked no problem?? I have one partition left, and I would like to do it in Fat or fat32 just to store some backup files, this way, I can getat them easy with a dos disk, in case my WIn2000 ever dies. This is just a test system so security etc… is of no concern and I want NTFS and FAT also so I can test different scenarios!
Thanks
