By Intelligent ·
I have win 98(FAT) on C drive, Win 2000 professional(NTFS)on D drive and Win XP professional(NTFS)on F drive. Now, I want to format Win 2000 pro and Win XP but I cannot access D and F drives from Command prompt of Win 98.

How can I format Those drives?

Save data and use "fdisk" to delete D and F partitions, then recreate them and format.

Caution: you can keep the C partition anyway, but depend by the rest of your settings (extended/logical/primary partitions) you can lose all other partitions.

You have an E partition?

you can't access them from W98 as W98 is not able to recognize NTFS format. As the first answer says, you'll have to delete the partitions if you want to get rid of Windows 2000 and XP.
