I am looking to set up a website that has a discussion forum – open to the public to read but registration required to post. I would like to have the images that are posted stored in a database. After 30 days would like the images on the forum to be archived in this database. The database would be searchable – and would require registration to search.
I have done some research and found some products that seemed to be focused on this area – such as:

They are inexpensive and seem to do what I need.
Does anyone have advice – or experience with these products? Is this the right approach?
