Forwarded Meeting Request results in Update to all Invitees

I have a client who is a delegate to her bosses calendar. She opened a meeting request in her bosses calendar and forwarded it to someone she thought should know about it. It resulted in updates to all the invitees. Those updates also said sent from her on behalf of the meeting organizer. Have you ever seen this before?
