Forwarding email to internet

I am asuming you are also using outlook 2000.

I would use the out of the office assistant wizard to forward his email to his new email address.

Just use the step by step instructions in the wizard. It is located under tools in the menu bar.In the autoreply box I would place a message stating that the person who is the recipient of the mail is no longer employed at your company and that the message will be fowarded to the new address.

I would keep a copy on your server and change the password to the account. Then someone could monitor the account for mail pertinent to the company and not necessarily for the recipient. That is assuming you have a policy in place that allows the company to look at any email that is recieved within the domain.
