Dear all,
we have got a W2K SP1 Server running Exchange 5.5 SP4. This server has got 3 partitions C, D & E. C&D are software mirrored and are 4GB & 13.9GB Respectively. E is its own seperate drive with 15GB Space. Recently we moved the user folders(7GB) from the D: drive to the E: drive.
Now when I add up all of the files on the D: drive I get about 8GB however the space left on the D: drive is only 230MB. I am missing something in the order of 5-6GB.
I have run a scandisk on this drive which took about an hour to run but did nothing. I have also tried to defrag the D: drive, after running it 4 times it somehow recovered 500MB, which is now gone again.
Has anyone come across this before?
