For some time Small software companys have given “trial” versions of their software. Recently I decided to try a few, I have done this before and found some good stuff worth buying.
I decided on two (name not guilty) and installed them. One was very slick and helped some. The other may well be the best thing since Basic, but after saying I had over 500 registry errors it would only remove 5.
I deleted the software, I have no idea if I have 500+ errors but cleaning 5 of them does not do anything. If the software had removed them all and I could have seen an improvement in operation of the system I would have been delighted to purchase it.
But tell me I have 500+ registry problems and then remove 5 does not show me anything but a slick misleading marketing tool.
To give me a full 30 day trial of the software so I can see the improvement is the best sales tool out there.
Computers seem to get the same malware back in the next few months as you still go to the same places, viewing the same site regularly.
Years ago I found Norton, McFee (sp)
various bench mark software by testing it. If it works let me see that it does. Somehow the exceedingly high numbers of errors is unverifiable.
Show me the improvement, not the three shells you are using in a shell game.
