Frequent Blue screen error on NT/2000/XP

this problem still persist. My computer configuration is:
AMD 1GHxz processor
40 GB HDD
On a Pine mother board with:
Sound, USB, VGA, Modem, LAN card on board.
Mecury coloured monitor

Please someone help out of the bottleneck
