    Frontier modem/router —->Nighthawk AC 1700 help

    Hello tech community!
    Looking for some help with my Frontier DSL internet. My current setup is I have 2- 25mb dsl lines at my house (highest speed available) We use 1 for everything gaming( 2 PC’s xbox 1 ps4 switch etc etc ) and 1 solely for Streaming tv Fire stick 4k.
    The dsl modem routers they provide are garbage imo. Arris NVG448-
    All of that to ask this- can I use the arris as the modem and connect it to my Nighthawk AC 1700 to handle routing? I tried setting them up as a bridge and had no luck getting a connection on the AC 1700.
    Thanks for any help, (and not roasting a newb lol)
