Frontpage 2000, Access 2000

By cking ·
We are making web pages and ASP pages using Frontpage 2000. We need a way to click a button on a web page and have it run a macro in an Access database or call a function and have it run in the database. We do not need to pass any arguments to themacro or code. Any ideas?
Thanks

The ASP page will allow you to create a record in an Access table.
If you have code written in access which is in a never ending loop it can check to see if a record exists in the table. If the record exists it runs your Macro, once the Macro has run it deletes the record from the table and continues to wait for someone else to write a record to the table.
This process will also allow you to pass parameters if you need to, they get written to fields in the table which then become available toyour code.

We did wan't the database to remain running. We wanted to open the database, run the macro and then close the database.
