FrontPage 2000 and forms

By bcollins ·
I have a web with several forms included. If I have the form setup to email me the responses, the form will not work and I get the "FrontPage Save Results Component]" tag on the form.

If I remove the email address and have the results begin put in an htm or txt file the form works correctly?

Has anyone seen this before?

I have an IIS 4.0 web server. You need to check to make sure the web site is configured with an email account to use when send forms to an email address. You can do this by opening up the Internet Service Manager and going to the properties of the Default Web Site. There you will find a Server Extensions tab. On that tab you can Specify How Mail Can Be Sent. Make sure your smtp settings are correct.
