I’m a tech support rep, and I have a customer trying to alter his frontpage website via his cable modem at home. If he connects to the page using frontpage 2000, it asks him for his logon and password, then says “Server sent a response which Frontpage could not parse. If you are trying to connect ta a FrontPage server, check with the Administrator to make sure Frontpage Extensions are installed properly”. I know the extensions and the frontpage itself are fine, as the customer can make no system changes except to dial-up over a normal phone connection and he can connect without a problem. We have no blocks on our cable modems of any types, so their should not be a difference between the dial-up and the cable modem connection.
