When saving a new file or performing a save ason an existing file to a Novell server, MS Word locks up and creats thousands of temp files. These files all start with Fsa, have 4 additional characters, and an extension of tmp. EX. Fsafa349.tmp. The version of Word is 97. Workstation OS version is Windows NT 40. SP6. Novell server OS is 3.12. This issue does not occur when opening an existing file, making changes, and saving the file. Any insight to the cause and a sloution would be appreciated.
