Hi,
I want to set up a public FTP server for my LAN at home, however, I don’t want to use port 21.
* I am using the FTP service that’s built into IIS in Windows XP Pro.
* I am using an HP HN200E router.
* I went into my router admin to set up port forwarding with a service port range (8900-8910, TCP Protocol) that I specified so that public users would be redirected to the specified IP address. The port that I want to use is 8906.
* Public users are able to connect to theFTP server when I use port 21.
When I type ftp://
An error has occurred opening that folder on the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to access that folder.
Details: 200 Type set to A.
500 Invalid PORT Command.
500 ‘LPRT 6,16,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,67,0,0,0,0,0,133,96,2,15,146’: command not understood.
Any ideas?
thx
