Fujitsu Note book Windows XP recovery

I would like to restore windows Xp on my Fijitsu Lap top. Windows is working fine but there lots of spywares and torjans and i am tried to clean. When i m trying to restore it from restore CD after runnning from CD when it reach to option press "R" to recover or press enter to install xp when i choose any option it give me a message " system can't find any hard disk drive".As per restore instruction i already setup boot sequence 1- CDROM 2- Hard disk drive.

How do i restore??? Please hepl me. Do i need to delete any xp file like boot.ini or ntldr or do i need to format the hard drive from any utility.

Sounds as if this NB has a SATA HDD

And the Recovery Disc doesn't.

What is the Model of this Fujitsu NB?
You may be able to use something like nLite to make a Slipstreamed Install Disc that Includes the SATA Driver but without knowing more it's hard to say one way or the other.

Well there are a couple of ways to proceed here

First you could read this TR Article which is mainly about adding SP2 to a XP install Media but can be used to add Drivers and other things as well.
