Full Backup Log using AT NTBACKUP automatically.

By raytmeyer ·
Running Windows Server 2000, NTBACKUP will provide a full backup log if directed to do so when entered at the command prompt or with the wizard. But if running the cmd from the Task Mgr with AT, it will not provide a backup log even if directed to do so. How can I get around this prb? Is 3rd party software available?

It's possibly a problem with the way AT parses the command line

Build a .CMD file with the exact NTBackup command that you want to run, including log file specifications and anything else. Once you have the .CMD file working like you want, use AT to run the .CMD file.

Hope this helps.

When I run it from the cmd line, it works just fine. However, when it runs from the AT cmd at 10:00 at nite, it does not create the log file. It is weird. Thanks for your suggestion. Maybe you have another one? Ray
