How can I make Windows XP open all windows at full size, instead of th windows always getting smaller every time you open a new one?

You can change the properties of each shortcut that you want to open full screen. Right-click the shortcut, click properties. Select 'maximised' from the drop down box labelled Run: .
All windows you open with this shortcut will be maximised.
Hope this helps.

I found the answer - open the various app windows and drag the edges to full size, then close them. After that they open to full size.
