Enable Legacy USB Support

by Exsosus In reply to g15 usb keyboard

The answer to your problem is to go into your BIOS settings, and set your keyboard settings to 'Legacy USB Support' enabled. You'll find Legacy USB Support in your Advanced menu in most BIOS:es for IBM-based computers today. Once its enabled press F10 to save your settings and exit BIOS. After your computer boots, unplug your PS/2 keyboard, and you are good to go.
To enter your BIOS; before the Windows boot screen shows up press the default keyboard key (using your PS/2 keyboard before you fix this) so that you enter BIOS. If you don't know the default key, try the following most used motherboard keys: F2, Del, F1, Insert

Hope that solves your problem!
