i just installed a new p4, 2.8ghz 533fbs chip. i had the same chip in my system but it broke so i got a new one. now when i play games, the game freezes about 45 sec. into the game, not sound comes out and i have to restart the computer. it did not do this before i installed my new chip but the new chip is the same as the old. i have the latest version of directx.
