I have a fairly new Gateway DX310, WinXP Pro SP2 that was having some issues with the keyboard and mouse simultaneously and intermittently not responding and we discovered that after much elimination that it was a BIOS problem. I upgraded the Phoenix Bios from 10J to version 10L and that so far has taken care of the problem however Windows XP system Info still only reports 10J. Looks like the BIOSINFI.INF is the culprit but the attrib and all of the other stuff has not changed since the original file date of 8-2004.
No other problems exist,
Any one else experiencing the same issue ?
