My factory (Gateway model MX6131) hard drive took a dump on me, so I purchased a new hard drive and used the Gateway System Restore disk to reload the operating system and drivers, it did pretty well except for these devices?
1.) The Ethernet Controller
2.) The Multimedia Audio Controller
3.) Network Controller
4.) PCI Modem
According to Pacific Techs they have my system components as?
1.) Intel Extreme 2 Graphics
2.) AC 97 2.3 compliant Audio
3.) 56K ITU V.90 Fax/Modem
4.) 10/100 Mbps Integrated Wireless 54 Mbps
I would think that anything being integrated would be or should be using a Intel driver as its residing on an Intel Motherboard using a Intel Chipset?
Either way I need some serious help, I have tried to contact Gateway for help and they are not responsive at all, I have also tried to use there drivers that they have on there website per my model and serial number with no luck with there drivers?
Any idea?s or help sure would be appreciated.
