I recently had to get a new hard drive installed on my laptop. Unfortunately I do not have the original disks that came with it. I am trying to reinstall windows and the hard drive is not detected. I know that I have to slipstream the drivers into the windows xp install CD and can handle that but I can’t seem to find the appropriate drivers. I downloaded all the drivers from the Gateway website and used nLite but when I went through the setup and hit f6 the hard drive was still not found.
Please help me out.
