Gateway Solo

I am trying to get a parallel printer and serial camera to work on a USB only computer.

They connected everything to a USB hub with parallel and serial connectors anlready on the hub. Then connected the hub to the system.

Printer Lexmark CJ 2050
Digital Camera
Windows 98 SR1

  OK, so what is the problem? I will assume that nothing will connect.
  
  Is the USB hub driver working on the laptop? Go into Device manager and check that the hub is working properly. Are you using the latest drivers for the USB hub?

    No it is one of those wana be Mac lookin things. The hub works fine and I asked about the drives and she got the thing.
