general training

By parksenegger ·
Hello, Looking to become more tech savy and would like a recommendation on what's a good site to read over all kinds of beginner and advanced topics. Specifially interested in how to build pc's and how to install software, use basic programs and troubleshoot issues. Thanks!

Well this is a good site for getting answers by searching topics. For a REALLY good hardware info site, including detailed descriptions of almost ALL hardware, preocessors etc. try Tom's Hardware Guide.

Honestly I would give the points to OZ since he gave you the
best site for your needs. That said, here are some other basic
sites just for reference:

http://www.computerhope.com/
http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/20020904/
http://www.buildeasypc.com/

Good Luck,
