Hi
I am facing two problems for the past few days which i am unable to solve.
1. Whenever i am playing need for speed underground 2 or need for speed carbon, the game unexpectedly at random times crashes to the desktop with the message “NFSC.exe / speed2.exe has encountered an error and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.” Its become a real pain. How do i solve this? Reinstalling the application does NOT fix the problem.
2. I recently had a virus infection and part of solving the problem was deleting a bunch of hidden files within a specific folder created by the virus, a relatively simple solution. But when I went to Folder Options->Show Hidden files and folders, It wouldnt come into effect and when i went back to folder options, i would find that the radio has gone back to “Do not show hidden files and folders”. At that point I thought that the virus was preventing me from viewing hidden files and folders, but even after removing the virus i am unable to view hidden files and folders. Has the virus corrupted my registry of Folder options? Is there and workaround or any way to reinstall folder options? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
