Get column heights to come out equal

By MaryWeilage Editor ·
This week's Design and Usability Tactics e-newsletter describes how to get equal-height columns in a three-column layout.

Are Michael Meadhra's columns about three-column layouts helpful to your development work? What Web design and usability problems are you trying to solve that you want Mr. Meadhra to cover in future editions of this e-newsletter?

Excellent!

Great trick!

I stuggled with this A LOT on a project a year or so back and finally surrendered to a fixed layout instead of the liquid I had envisoned. This is exactly the fix I could have used then, and your article is now safely stored for future reference.

Thanks a lot!

Very informative - can it be extended . . .

so that the footer appears at the bottom of the browser instead of just below the columns? I would like the footer to be positioned at the bottom of the browser and the columns to extend down to the footer with background colors/images.

Thanks
