I am currently working as a software engineer with a small software company. And i have 8+ years experience working with T-SQL, SSIS etc on SQL Server 2005-2012/16 versions. And also working with Nancy APIs/service stack APIs. At start of my career, I had worked with Core .Net 3.0/3.5 versions even though i don’t work on it as of now. My question is, are there enough opportunities now to get hired as a Sr. SQL Developer in other IT/software companies? If not, what would the bigger companies expect in terms of additional skills along with SQL?
