Getting rid of a drive letter in NT

by borisr . Updated 25 years, 1 month ago

I had a drive partioned into C and X on Windows Terminal Server 4.0 SP5. Because I was running out of space on X, I decided to add a larger Hard drive. After adding this drive, I tried to asign a different letter to X(so that I could assign X to this drive). When I did this, an error came up stating that this drive was not available for exlusive use. However it proceeded to continue and assigned the new drive letter. When the system restarted, the Disk Administrator showed the correct drive. However, under My Computer, windows still shows the X drive, only now it thinks X and C are one and the same. Any suggestions?
